Hello! I have two children and have been happily married to my wife for 15 years. We currently live in my wife’s home state of Alaska. It’s an amazingly beautiful place that allows for constant outdoor entertainment and adventures. Our family spends much of our time camping, fishing, whale watching, berry picking, hiking, skiing/snowboarding, 4-wheeling, & snow machining. I work in commercial lending for a mid-size credit union in Alaska. Before jumping into the riveting world of finance, I spent 13 years in the Army. Most of this time was spent in US Army Special Forces, better known as the Green Berets and a few years as a paratrooper.

I enjoyed my time in Special Forces and appreciate the hard lessons that have shaped me into the man I am today. Every day I try to exemplify the ideals instilled in me and try to instill them in my children. These Ideals include humility, self-discipline, integrity, and grit. As with most parents, trying to find the best ways to instill these ideals in your children is a never-ending battle.
